"Antarctica Chilena, Chile | March 13, 2015

The Andean Codonor, a bird with one of the largest wingspans in the world, roosts among inaccessible cliff faces covered in Guano. Juveniles, like this one, are usually brown in color and as the bird matures its feathers change to include a black and white pattern.
The Condor is extremely shy and though many flew off as I climbed up to their rock face home, several stayed and gave me an investigative flyby.
