“@frankrelle photographed this weathered home on glistening waters in Pierre Part, Louisiana in April 2015. His project, “Until the Water,” takes viewers on a nighttime tour of Louisiana’s rivers and swamps, examining how water and people coexist. The idea came to him after water was the cause of several cataclysmic setbacks for #Louisiana, beginning with Hurricane Katrina a decade ago. To @frankrelle, the project is a reminder that to live along the water is to live with change. This #nytweekender, we have been sharing a series of @frankrelle’s long-exposure nocturnal photos. You can see more of @frankrelle’s work on the @nytimes #lensblog.” By nytimes on Instagram.
