“It is with an extremely heavy heart we report the deaths of two of our colleagues in South Sudan. Our sincerest condolences go to the family and friends of Gawar Top Puoy and James Gatluak Gatpieny, killed amid fighting in Leer, Unity state. Last week, Gawar, a logistician who had worked for MSF since 2009, was killed during an attack on the village of Wulu. James, a community health worker who had worked for MSF since 2011, was killed during a separate attack on the village of Payak last week.
