"Josh Homme and Iggy Pop's collaboration started with a text message. Josh, who leads the band Queens of the Stone Age, recalled, "It basically said, 'Hey, it would be great if we got together and maybe write something sometime — Iggy.'" Last January, and with utmost secrecy and full independence, the 2 began to write and record together. Their album, "Post Pop Depression," is scheduled to come out in March, followed by a brief tour. "There won't be hardly any shows," Josh said. "It will be like trying to catch smoke in your hands. And that makes it even better." @eliz photographed Josh and #IggyPop earlier this month while on #nytassignment in North Hollywood. Their band will be making its debut on @colbertlateshow tonight."
