"Once upon a time, the Golden State @warriors needed a superhero. And so, Sadiki Fuller made his living by dressing up in a skintight bodysuit as the @warriors mascot, Thunder. But the trampoline-bouncing, basketball-dunking, superhero was banished to the mascot junkyard in 2008, to make room for the Oklahoma City Thunder (@okcthunder). The @warriors never won more than 21 games in each of Sadiki's 5 seasons with the team. But these days, with @stephencurry30 making 3-pointers in record numbers, the notion of the larger-than-life Golden State mascot is a quaint memory. "Steph Curry would have made my job so easy," Sadiki said. "You know how hard it is to get 18,000 people to scream when they feel like the team is just going to lose again?" @jokemichaels photographed Sadiki in costume in Los Angeles earlier this month."
