"Medical marijuana programs are available in nearly half of all U.S. states, yet only 2% of respondents in the U.S. reported the ability to prescribe it. Would healthcare professionals recommend medical marijuana if they could? In a survey of 10,143 global Figure 1 users (conducted on April 14-18), we found a widespread acceptance of cannabis — but very little power to prescribe it. There was a definite preference for oral prescriptions over smoking or vaping, and students were most likely to say they'd prescribe if they could. They were also most likely to say they personally used marijuana." By figure1 on Instagram
